As founder of Gateway Wealth Management, LLC, Aaron provides individuals and businesses with a wide range of specialized, comprehensive financial guidance for investment, retirement, and estate planning, as well as other wealth management needs. Aaron has been an independent financial advisor since 1994 with the goal of offering a local, independently owned alternative to large, traditional brokerage firms. He has been passionate about investing since his middle school years, when he bought his first stocks.

 

Aaron earned his Bachelors of Business Administration degree, majoring in both Economics and Finance, from the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire in 1993. He worked at a small independent advisory firm in Bloomington, Minnesota, for over 23 years as a lead financial advisor before starting Gateway Wealth Management, LLC in 2018. He has been a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner (CFP®) since 2000 and has his FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 securities registrations through Commonwealth Financial Network®.

Aaron has lived in the Twin Cities for his entire life. He and his wife, Heidi, have been married for 29 years; they live in Lakeville with their two children, Tate (20) and Addie (17). They are passionate about serving others and their community.  Aaron and his family are active in their local church where Aaron has led ministries and served faithfully with his wife and family for many years. When Aaron isn’t working hard for his clients, he enjoys biking, fishing, hunting, birding, and spending time with his family.
